Aaraattu is the upcoming mass entertainer of the king of the Malayalam film industry Mohanlal and now the movie is blessed with the music maestro AR Rahman as well.
The legendary actor Mohanlal shared an image along with the director B. Unnikrishnan and the music maestro AR Rahman on the official Twitter handle and confirms that the musician has completed shooting for the upcoming cinema.

Having said that, the reunion of the legendary actor and Rahman is happening after a gap of over 30 years. The last Malayalam film of the magical combination was Yodha, which came out in 1992.
It is worth mentioning that the upcoming Aaraattu is the third collaboration with Mohanlal after Mr Fraud and Villian. The upcoming movie is written by screenwriter Udaykrishna, who wrote one of Mohanlal’s biggest box office hits, Pulimurugan. The upcoming movie is scheduled to be released in the month of August this year.
