The third installment of the very popular Drishyam franchise was confirmed to be released all over the world on April 2, but the king of the Malayalam film industry and the lead actor of the upcoming Drishyam 3 have officially announced that the release of the film has been postponed.

The legendary actor Mohanlal has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Drishyam 3 will now release in cinemas worldwide on May 21, 2026, which is also the birthday of the king.
It is expected that the movie has been postponed due to the ongoing tensions in the Gulf region. There is no official confirmation about the reason behind the pushback.
The movie is directed by Jeethu Joseph, and we can see the king reprise his iconic role as Georgekutty along with Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Asha Sharath, Siddique, Murali Gopy, and KB Ganesh Kumar in this movie. It is worth mentioning that the first part of the franchise was released in 2013, and the second part was released in 2021.
