The king of Malayalam film industry is all set to come on the big screen with one of the biggest trump cards, L2 Empuraan, the movie will be released on March 27. The legendary actor is making waves for his return as Khureshi Ab’raam, aka Stephen Nedumpally and the cinema is the second part of the sensational Lucifer movie, it is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaaran. The movie has already started selling out cinemas, hinting towards a massive open day record.
As I mentioned above, the highly anticipated L2 Empuraan will be released on March 27, and the cinema has started receiving a grand welcome across all the king-size cinemas in Kerala. It is reported that three popular 1000-plus-seater cinemas in the state have already sold out.
For the record, the big names like 1130 seater Kavitha, 1005 seater Apsara, and 1000+ seater Matha cinema have already been declared as ‘Sold Out.’ It is worth mentioning that all these three cinemas went to Housefull as fan shows.
The magic of Mohanlal is not only in Kerala but a similar kind of response was recorded in Saudi Arabia as well. Two fan shows at the biggest screen of Empire Cinemas at Jeedha sold out in just a few hours.
L2 Empuraan is backed on a huge budget under the production of Aashirwad Cinemas as well as Lyca Productions, L2 Empuraan is eyeing a solid start at the box office. It is worth mentioning that the first installment of the movie, which was released in 2019 was a huge blockbuster.
The upcoming L2 Empuraan will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. So the upcoming movie will be a Pan-India release.
