Mohanlal’s upcoming movie started booking on March 21. As bookings opened, the booking crossed all the records by creating history on BookMyShow. The upcoming L2 Empuraan witnessed an amazing response as the movie recorded the highest hourly pre-sales in Indian cinema. The movie was capable of selling 96.14K tickets in an hour. This achievement broke the previous record held by Leo and the Shahrukh Khan movie Jawan.
It is actually a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer, the film is the second installment in the Lucifer trilogy. The king of the Malayalam film industry will reprise his role as Khureshi-Ab’raam, also known as Stephen Nedumpally. The movie features stars including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Fazil, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kishore Kumar G, Sachin Khedekar, Abhimanyu Singh and Hollywood Actors Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones), making his Indian cinema debut.
