Thudarum Review: A Combo Of Class And Mass

Thudarum is the latest movie of the king of the Malayalam film industry and it was released soon after the sensational and industry hit L2. The Expectations and hopes were high for Thudarum, which was kept by the filmmakers and the king of the industry. With Thudarum, the Malayalam film industry got two back-to-back industry hits.

Thudarum starts with a comfortable space, and the cinema showcased the daily routines along with innocuous humour, and it was a perfect opening for the cinema. The movie started to shift its shape, and that was incredible. ‘Benz’ Shanmugham is the lead character, played by Mohanlal, and he was trying to get back his beloved old car that was unfairly seized by the local police. The journey to up of the hills, as one feels the tension ramping up. The film then presented the emotional roots of Shanmugham for his car and a former stunt master as well as with his family.

Tharun Moorthy, the director of the movie, did a great job and he utilised the potential of the star Mohanlal. We were able to see different shades of Mohanlal in the cinema. This is what the fans were waiting for a long time, as the cinema provided the fans stuff to cheer along with the different moments where we all witnessed the real acting skills of Mohanlal. The movie has a solid story, which is from K.R. Sunil, the director showcased his intelligence in the cinema and the cinema shows the natural disaster of Wayanad, which turns out to be one of the key elements in a revelation.

I am not getting into the storyline of the cinema because it is still running successfully in theatres. I must say that Mohanlal, as an actor, faced multiple challenges in the cinema, and all of them were easily overcome by the actor. The movie is a mixture of class and mass. You will see incredible fight scenes of the king of the Malayalam film industry, and the cinema has a jump scene that offers goosebumps, and it reminds us that age is just a number.
