Operation Ganga will be directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Vishnu Mohan and the cinema is based on India’s large-scale evacuation mission launched in 2022 to bring back Indian citizens, including thousands of students, stranded in Ukraine after the Russia-Ukraine war broke out.
The movie will also feature Arjun Rampal, Bhagyashri Borse, Parthiban and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles. Cinematography is being handled by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, who has shot the Pushpa franchise, while production design comes from Rajeevan. The action department is in the hands of Sea Young Oh, whose credits include Dhurandhar and Kill. Moreover, the music composer is Shashwat Sachdev.
