SIIMA Awards, the prestigious awards of the South India and the award committee has announced the winners of the SIIMA 2021 event. There are many big announcements were happened and the king of the Malayalam film industry Mohanlal was announced as the best actor in the Malayalam film industry.
The award committee of SIIMA 2021 announced winners of the South Indian film actors and technicians. Mohanlal is the best actor in Malayalam for the movie Lucifer which was released in 2019 and the movie was the biggest hit in the Malayalam industry ever.
Having said that, Prithviraj Sukumaran who directed the movie Lucifer was announced the best debutant director in Malayalam. That’s not all, the movie Lucifer was also selected as the best Malayalam movie.
Lucifer received more awards during the event, Manju Warrier who came back in the industry after a gap won the best actress award for the movie Lucifer and it is worth mentioning that Manju Warrier was also named as the best actress in Tamil as well.
The magical combination of Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently working in the movie called BroDaddy and the shooting is progressing in Hyderabad. Moreover, the second part of Lucifer is also in the pipeline and the same is expected to start rolling next year.
